Directions for: Frankie Wanna Meatball Hot Dog
Ingredients
Spaghetti4 - 5 L water
salt, to taste
Barilla spaghetti
4 Mini Meatballs1 lb(s) ground beef
lb(s) ground veal
lb(s) pork
2 eggs
1 onion, grated
1 Tbsp parsley, finely chopped
1 Tbsp oregano
1 Tbsp basil
1 tsp salt and pepper
cup breadcrumbs
cup milk
Tomato Sauce3 cans peeled tomatoes, pured
2 large onion, diced
⅛ cup sugar
1 Tbsp garlic, minced
2 Tbsp basil
1 pinch salt and pepper
Assembly1 all-beef lamb-cased hot dog, flat grilled to desired temperature
1 egg bun, steamed or toasted
Spaghetti
4 Mini Meatballs
Tomato Sauce
Parmesan cheese, grated
fresh parsley, chopped
Directions
Spaghetti1. Bring water to a boil and salt to taste. Add spaghetti boiling water and cook for 8 minutes, stirring occasionally. Drain.
4 Mini Meatballs1. Blend all ingredients until completely mixed. Roll into quarter-sized balls and pan fry for 7-10 minutes.
Tomato Sauce1. Saut onions and garlic. Add all remaining ingredients and bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer for 1 1/2 hours.
Assembly1. Assembly all ingredients and enjoy!
