Stout and Sriracha-Marinated Beef Skewers
This heavenly combination of flavours for the marinade will satisfy spice lovers everywhere.

Directions for: Stout and Sriracha-Marinated Beef Skewers

Ingredients

5 clove garlic, minced

3 cm ginger, peeled and minced

cup stout (drink the rest)

2 Tbsp Sriracha or hot sauce

2 Tbsp dark brown sugar

1 Tbsp olive oil

2 tsp ground cumin

2 tsp smoked paprika

2 tsp sweet paprika

1 lb(s) beef striploin, cut in 1-inch cubes

bamboo skewers, pre-soaked

kosher salt and freshly ground black pepper

Directions

1. Combine all of the marinade ingredients together in a small bowl. Place beef strips in a re-sealable plastic bag or a non-reactive container with a lid. Pour marinade over and turn to coat. Cover and refrigerate overnight.

2. before grilling remove beef from marinade; discard the marinade. Season with Salt and pepper. Thread cubes on pre-soaked bamboo skewers. Grill on barbeque to medium (approximately 1-2 minutes on each side) or in a heavy bottomed fry pan.
