Directions for: Sweet Sauce and Ribs
Ingredients
Sauce1 cup soya sauce
1 cup vegetable oil
5 cup sugar
1/4 cup + 2 Tbsp garlic, chopped
Ribs8 baby back ribs
1 garlic bud, peeled and cut in pieces
Directions
Sauce1. on high heat, mix all ingredients together in a large pot and stir to a boil.
2. Reduce heat to medium-low and let cook until sauce thickens.
3. Remove from heat, set aside.
Ribs1. Boil ribs in large pot, add salt and garlic pieces.
2. Cook ribs until tender. Approximately 1 - 1.5 hours.
3. Remove ribs from water and set aside.
4. Return pot of sauce to heat and slowly drop ribs in. (Sauce may bubble up if ribs are added too fast).
5. Cook ribs in sauce for approximately 5 minutes, remove and serve.
6. Note: Leftover sauce can be frozen for 3-6 months.
