Directions for: Flip 'n Patties Burger
Ingredients
3 lb(s) ground 80/20 grass-fed beef
cup Filipino BBQ marinade
bushel organic green onions
1 small organic yellow onion
bushel organic cilantro
Tbsp salt
2 Tbsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp ginger powder
cup Filipino beer
cup granulated sugar
12 organic eggs
1 cup breadcrumbs
⅕ Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
6 slices organic American cheese
12 slices organic free-range bacon
6 organic portobellini mushrooms
6 oz organic Muenster cheese, grated
6 oz organic Cheddar cheese, shredded
2 cups panko breadcrumbs
2 cups plain breadcrumbs
head organic lettuce
1 organic tomato
3 oz Dijon mustard
3 oz mayonnaise
6 oz hot chili sauce
6 Hawaiian bread burger buns
charcoal
pecan wood
4 cups canola oil
Directions
1. Place Filipino BBQ marinade, green onions, yellow onions, cilantro, salt, garlic powder, ginger powder, beer, sugar, 2 eggs into a food processor. Process until it is all mixed and liquefied.
2. Pour marinade over grass fed ground beef and add breadcrumbs. Hand mix until marinade is well mixed with beef. Cover and place in refrigerator.
3. Place Muenster and Cheddar cheese into food processor. Process until both cheeses are well mixed.
4. Remove stems from organic portobellini mushrooms. Stuff about 2 oz of the cheese mixture into the mushrooms until is well packed in.
5. Crack 10 eggs into a bowl and beat. Dip the stuffed mushrooms into the beaten eggs. Cover mushrooms with plain breadcrumbs. Dip the mushrooms again into the beaten eggs. Cover mushrooms with panko bread crumbs and compress mushrooms between two hands to make sure the panko sticks and covers the mushroom entirely.
6. Mix Dijon mustard and mayonnaise together.
7. Start charcoal grill with pecan wood. Heat oil in a deep fry pan to 325F.
8. Take the meat mixture out of the refrigerator and weigh out into 1/2 lb. patties. Cook patties over charcoal while brushing it with Worcestershire on each side. Cook about 2 minutes on each side. Cook bacon over charcoal until nice and crisp.
9. while patties are cooking, start to deep fry mushrooms for 3 minutes.
10. Toast Hawaiian bread. Shred lettuce and slice tomatoes.
11. Spread hot chili sauce and mustard/mayonnaise mixture on both top and bottom buns. Layer lettuce and tomatoes on bottom bun.
12. Place bacon on patties then one slice of American cheese while over charcoal to melt cheese.
13. once cheese is melted, place patties on bottom bun then top with a fried stuff portobellini mushroom. Place top bun. Take a bite and watch the unicorn magic happen!
