Caramelized Onion & Cheddar-Stuffed Burgers
This burger is seasoned to perfection and stuffed with cheese, caramelized onions and bacon. Bottom line: it will melt in your mouth. Courtesy of Fire in the Kitchen Spice Co.

Ingredients

4 lb(s) ground beef

2 lb(s) ground pork

cup Fire in the Kitchen Burger Batter

1 block (250 g) old Cheddar cheese

12 slices jalapeno Havarti cheese

1 lb(s) thick-cut butcher bacon

1 large sweet onion

lettuce, pickles, tomato and onion

Directions

1. Combine ground beef and ground pork together in large bowl.

2. Mix in cup Burger Batter.

3. Hand mix meat and seasoning together and create 12 equal-sized meat balls, semi-flattened.

4. Cook bacon in a frying pan; set aside.

5. Chop and caramelize onion in a frying pan with a teaspoon of butter or cooking oil.

6. in a bowl mix together the 250 g block of Cheddar, caramelized onions and cooked bacon.

7. Make 12 equal cheese, onion and bacon balls.

8. Stuff cheese balls into the center of the meat ball patties; make sure the cheese is not exposed on either side.

9. Use two plates and press patties down to desired thickness.

10. Pre-heat oven to 400F, cook burgers on an aluminum lined tray for 15 to 20 minutes depending on size.

11. Finish cooking on the grill to desired temperature.

12. Add Havarti cheese slices one minute before done.

13. Top with LPTO and condiments of your choice, bun and done!
