Directions for: Alen's Spicy Sausage Burgers
Ingredients
250 mL (1 Cup) All-Bran Buds* cereal or All-Bran Original* cereal
500 g (1 pound) hot Italian sausages, casing removed
225 g (1/2 pound) lean ground beef
1 small onion, finely chopped
2 clove garlic
1 egg
30 mL (2 tbsp) grated Parmesan cheese
15 mL (1 tbsp) Worcestershire sauce
2 mL (1/2 tsp) each, salt and pepper
Directions
1. Process cereal in blender until it resembles coarse crumbs.
2. in bowl, combine sausage meat, beef, cereal, onion, garlic, Parmesan, Worchestershire and salt and pepper.
3. Form into 8 patties and grill or pan fry until meat is no longer pink, about 8 minutes per side. Serve warm on toasted buns with sliced cheese and your favourite burger toppings.
