The Big Papa Burger

Directions for: the Big Papa Burger

Ingredients

Pork Patties

2 lb(s) ground pork

2 eggs

tsp Worcestershire sauce

cup BBQ sauce

1 tsp all-purpose seasoning

tsp Bada seasoning

Brisket Patties

2 lb(s) ground brisket

2 eggs

tsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp beef rub

8 slices Cheddar cheese

8 large potato buns

1 - 2 heirloom tomatoes, sliced

1 - 2 sweet onions, sliced

pickles (optional)

jalapenos (optional)

Directions

Pork Patties

1. Preheat griddle to medium-high heat.

2. Combine all ingredients in bowl until completely incorporated. Using hands, divide and form into eight patties. Set aside.

Brisket Patties

1. Combine brisket, eggs, Worcestershire sauce and beef rub in bowl until completely incorporated. Using hands, divide and form into eight patties.

2. Grill pork and brisket burgers until doneabout 5-6 minutes per side. Just before removing from heat, add Cheddar cheese to brisket burgers.

3. Assemble burgers with placing one brisket patty and one pork patty on each potato bun. Garnish burgers with a slice of tomato, sweet onion and lettuce.

4. Cooks note: Burgers can be served as either a single pork burger or a single brisket burger. if preparing a single pork burger, sliced or shredded Cheddar cheese can be added to top while grilling.
